Reed Reding	General	A great deal has changed at Cowan since this photo was taken. Most of the yard tracks have been removed, as has the covered hopper "on stilts" that was being used to service locomotives. My guess is that the geep was probably the power for the Tracy City Branch local. The branch had a little over a year of life left at the time of this photo.	6/18/2013 1:02:26 AM

Chuck Zeiler	General	Thanks for the Comment. I was driving from one of my employer's factories to another, and the route took me through Cowan. I stopped and took a few photos, including another shot of the 'hopper on stilts', which I will post in the near future. Helpers were added to and removed from trains at Cowan and I ventured up the hill to get some shots, but the only good shot was a hy-rail pickup truck.	6/18/2013 9:34:26 AM
