| SBD GP38-2 4051 at Hulsey Yard in Atlanta, Georgia on February 25, 1983, Kodachrome by Chuck Zeiler. This photo was shot from the vestibule of Georgia 120, a Budd stainless steel coach assigned to Train #108, the last mixed train on a Class One railroad. It was my good fortune that a load of plate steel was just ahead of the coach. I was the only passenger on this date and had the coach to myself. Later in the trip I was invited back to the trailing caboose; what a treat, and no extra charge. |
